Three blocks from the center of town, the Saltair Inn is set on more than one acre of waterfront property. The inn is within easy walking distance to everything in the village, yet far enough removed to preserve the peaceful tranquility of its distinguished location in the Bar Harbor Historic District.
Spacious waterfront suites are appointed with king-size beds, elegant private baths, multiple gas fireplaces, TV/DVD/WIFI, and private sitting rooms overlooking the Bay. An expansive back lawn slopes gently from the rear of the house to the water's edge and an unobstructed view of Frenchman Bay.
A full breakfast is served between 8:00 and 9:00 AM on the rear deck or in the formal dining room overlooking the Bay. For early risers, fresh-brewed gourmet coffee is ready by 7:00 AM. There is off-street parking for everyone staying at the inn.
Amenities
Each of the Saltair's waterfront suites has its own private sitting room overlooking Frenchman Bay. Two of the suites have direct access to a second level balcony deck, also overlooking the Bay. More waterfront seating is located on the large rear deck and at the end of the lawn at the water's edge.
