A 19th Century farmhouse situated on a country lane midst 25 acres of fields and woods. Outside--rolling terrain, a farm pond, an old red barn. Inside--hand-hewn beams, wide pine floors, a fire bucket, native baskets. Distinctively different, a true country inn, lovingly restored and meticulously maintained by two 21st Century women, Barbara and Rosalie Vanderzanden.
An air of quiet simple elegance pervades the common rooms rich with antiques and art, barnboard and brass, pewter and primitives. A bit of Americana, a collection of artifacts gathered round the world, an intimate library with an eclectic collection of books to appeal to all tastes.
